Kahlo

Kahlo is a Google doodle motion graphic that celebrates the Mexican artist Frida Kahlo through imagery and color. Although known for her stereotypical, and fantasized unibrow and flowered braid, Kahlo is represented through a more factual lense. Known for her extensive smoking habit, Kahlo is depicted smoking her favorite cigarettes while being surrounded by her diary sketches. The goal of the project was to portray Kahlo as a person, and not as an over-sexualized female icon.
